Decided to give you a good review since no one else is. App is great. The only think I would change is the all black background.
Sick app and so useful. The only thing keeping it from a perfect 5 is the adoption of full iOS 4 compatibility such as the ability to run in the background and fast app switching. Otherwise totally awesome!
I use to have the other vlc remote (the one that never works) and I paid for it! This works without much hassle, and its free!! If you want something to control your playlist, pause play etc. grab this while its free!!
Works great, easy to setup and best of all free! Highly recommended for all your vlc control needs.
Latest update is super. Forget about the other paying version!

Awesome update
Some bad moments
While the remote section of this app worked, the streaming features were inconstant and caused constant crashes of the app and its pc software. Note these issues continued ever after doing a manual installation and verification of the software pc side. This was also not due to a lack of pc horsepower.
Should future version of this app fix these issues I would give it another try.
This update was a bust for me. I dont have an iPhone 5, so all the options no longer fit properly on my screen, and it crashes every time I try to make a playlist. Such a disappointment since I use this every day! Guess its time to check out some of the other VLC apps :(
Now the layout is wrong, controls are hidden behind the in-app VLC Amigo title bar on iphone5 and it crashes when you press + i have to use a different app until this one is fixed.
This app is perfect when it works.. Then it stops, and you have to delete then reinstall, at least a few times a week if you watch videos daily. Latest ios 9.2 and iphone 6S plus 64gb.
I have bought the streaming functionality but no video format is supported. On the other hand I have written many mails to get support to application provider but there is no answer so far. Please dont pay any money for this application.
Like many other reviewers. App used to be awesome and easy to use. Now crashes often and requires reinstall to work.
