This app is perfect when it works.. Then it stops, and you have to delete then reinstall, at least a few times a week if you watch videos daily. Latest ios 9.2 and iphone 6S plus 64gb.

I have bought the streaming functionality but no video format is supported. On the other hand I have written many mails to get support to application provider but there is no answer so far. Please dont pay any money for this application.

Crashes with iOS 9 on start, please fix it

Perfect! Very simple & reliable, except in some infrequent freezing case: you just have to close the app and open it again. The flick skip is a really nice touch: but is there a way to stop and play without closing the flick skip view? The possibility to add any file to the playlist is a fantastic feature.

Like many other reviewers. App used to be awesome and easy to use. Now crashes often and requires reinstall to work.

I have had the paid version for years and I loved it. Now it crashes all the time and when you tap ? for help a blank screen comes up that you cant get out of.

I get it you want me to purchase your app, but taking 90% of the screen for ads is a little excessive. Works well so far only a couple closes.

Since name changed to Amigo the app crashes all the time. Loved it before but outrageous the difference. Almost useless

I never do app reviews but I feel compelled to do one for this because of how useful and convenient this app is. I use a setup where I hook my tv to my computer so I can watch movies and this app is great if I want to sit in bed and control it. It would be nice to have a slider for volume and a slider for playback if possible. Also it would be nice to have easier playlist control, like being able to rearrange the playlist and selecting multiple items for deletion. One of my favorite features is the folder navigation capabilities for creating playlists away from the computer. Overall this app is incredible, great job guys. Im going to buy the ad free license just to support the further development of this app.

Probably the best VLC remote app out there. All the features you need in a remote are there, the setup is easy and unlike another VLC remote app that I tried, you dont need to have an application running on your computer to connect to VLC. I especially like being able to skip or rewind 5, 30, or 180 seconds with a single button. The UI is decent, but could use some small improvements to speed up navigation. The developer is frequently adding new features and updates, so Im sure the app will get better over time. Overall, I really like the app and have paid for the ad-free version to support the developer.

The interface of this application is beyond great. Very easy to ff or rewind with the flick system. Searches my hard drive with clear menus and also allows to bookmark folders for fast searching of videos. Tons better than other paid vlc apps for the iOS. Do not let this app pass you by. Download.

With the recent update, if you use other apps, when you switch back to the remote, the fast forward or rewind features do not work anymore, only pause and play work! Also, the title of the current video, does not show anymore! Please fix this! I paid for the ad free version!

I use this in church worship services to control click tracks on a host pc from the stage. It was working great for the most part, but before long it started frequently losing the connection to VLC. But it doesnt even realize its lost the connection and try to correct the problem or anything. The app still responds, but the commands are delayed for minutes, and then the time readout fluctuates wildly. Wifi connection is still working perfectly, so either its a problem with VLC itself or with this app. I havent tried other apps to see if they have the same problem yet.
