works just as advertised... the latest update had some nice extras... keep up the good work man

It works once its set up as a remote. Unfortunately it doesnt allow timeline scrubbing, but rather just skipping back or forward a set amount of time (5, 30, or 180 seconds)

Having tried some other free apps that claimed to do the same thing, I am finally glad to find one that just works!

Vlc remote is excellent. I wanted to stream my library to my iPhone 4s so I downloaded this thing. Audio and video track do not sync up and are about 3 seconds apart trying several formats. It is basically unusable unless you like hearing sounds 3 seconds before the video catches up.

Previous version was best-in-class. Went from 5 stars to 1. New update introduced all kinds of very serious bugs and some other irritating usability issues. Unusable with ios6 it seems.

There is no need to spend money on other vlc remote apps when Amigo is here for free. Its simple in design and uses less memory. Its fast and works great and i dont face any problems that other users claimed. Keep up the good work.

It no longer works. Please reverse the update. It has been over a week now. Cmon!

VLC by far makes the best product in the store - bar none! They ROCK!

Quality stuff. Newest interface is definitely prettier, but at the cost of some lagging.

Love this app, I use it almost every day, quite simple to configure, simple and straightforward to use, totally recommend it!

Took a while to set up due to murky instructions. Tryign to stream video right not and its not working. Useless.

Easy set up. Easy use, efficient fast fwd and back by seconds. Great media center remote. The buttons seemed a bit squished on the free version with the banner. But one you pay, they all get much bigger. Well worth it

Works amazing for watching videos on the Mac on the tv ! didnt try the streaming though

This has become my go to remote when using VLC because of all the common features that the native VLC players buries. Its especially useful when Im watching files from my computer on my TV (no need to reach over to my computer to affect the slider, switch between files, etc.) Would give it 5 stars except for a bug that exists where the first skip back sometimes takes you back much further than you wanted. But aside from that, I still dont see another remote that is as feature-laden, comprehensive, convenient & intuititively laid out. Overall, Im a big fan of this particular app. Best VLC remote available IMHO. Nicely done.

A terrific remote for VLC Player on your desktop or laptop. But seriously, the new icon for Version 2 is the ugliest thing Ive ever seen. Go back to the icon of VLCs traffic cone, guys. Please!!

I mainly use the app for playing videos on my iPhone, so I would like to see full screen options when playing a video on the device, and the ability to create folders to organize the files. Other than that, it seems to work the way Ive come to expect VLC to run, beautifully.

I use this all the time to play movies and TV shows on my computers -- Mac, Linux, and Windows. You have to enable web interface and open the http lua ports to the world. I really like the new feature that puts a check mark next to shows that youve already watched.

Currently doesnt work on VLC v.2.1. Please fix that
