Ive grown dependent on this; Ive tried similar apps, but this one has such a natural interface that makes it very easy to navigate a video. (I love "Flick Skip," in particular.) It has become one of the most useful apps on my iPad and iPhone. The developers are extremely responsive and helpful!

one of the only complains was the update and 2.1 support now is almost perfect update the icon

Last version completely broken, because of the ads i cant click for file browsing... Icon is still ugly.

Dont bother with other VLC apps, because this one is better. I downloaded 4 different remotes and this one was by far the best.

Lists all files, videos but comes up with "unexpected error this and that" or "failed to do this or that." Useless.

Works great, but the app frequently has to reconnect. I also dont understand why it hangs after connecting, it should skip the connected screen altogether.

Great, functional app, no complaints about functionality. There needs to be more contrast in the UI though, also the app icon MUST be changed to something more clean. I hope my feedback can be taken constructive criticism to help this papp improve.

App no longer works. It connects to the VLC host computer like always, lets be enjoy "now playing" for about 5 seconds then crashes every time. My playlist file is 3.5megs, but every other remote plays it perfectly. All host and network settings are perfect - its just this app. :(

Love it! Would only be better if the mouse cursor would disappear after using. Instead I have to open up Logitech Touch Mouse App and touch the pad to make it disappear, but I still dont have to get up, so awesome either way... *update* 08/2014 Still better than getting up to control VLC from the computer. Friggin awesome!

This Vic app has everything. The only issue is when I want to eventually open the app, it may crash. Put love into your app. An update is my request.

I like this app, but I cant use it alone, I have to use the official VLC app alongside it in order to load media from UPNP. Instead of supporting that, it requires its own proprietary standalone server to stream media. I dont see why that should be necessary. UPNP is an open standard and I wish it could find media that way.

Have used this app for years but now doesnt load at all. Deleted and reinstalled. Reset phone and reinstalled. Still doesnt work... iPhone support goes nowhere... Will change review when fixed.

Please fix that

Works great until I close the app then it will crash any other time I try to open the app until I delete and reinstall

Used to be my favorite VLC remote app but became unusable.
