VLC Pal App Reviews

ca marche...... :)

Good App, but can be even better.

I bought the full version, wich just remove adds. It do the job very well and easy to use! I missed some basic features such clear all playlist (you have to delete each item at a time) and add a folder to playlist (you have to add one file at a time too). The app could do it programatically if not possible over HTTP remote interface. I would also remove some buttons from the main screen. Extended controls for FF/RWD could be in another page, or configurable, so this screen will looks cleaner.

Cool but...

"Select all" for a Folder is missing

Sick App

Decided to give you a good review since no one else is. App is great. The only think I would change is the all black background.

Amazing App

Sick app and so useful. The only thing keeping it from a perfect 5 is the adoption of full iOS 4 compatibility such as the ability to run in the background and fast app switching. Otherwise totally awesome!

Awesome

I use to have the other vlc remote (the one that never works) and I paid for it! This works without much hassle, and its free!! If you want something to control your playlist, pause play etc. grab this while its free!!

Its all good

Works great, easy to setup and best of all free! Highly recommended for all your vlc control needs.

Thank you!

Its pretty good.

Awesome!

Latest update is super. Forget about the other paying version!

Works great and its free

Theres really nothing more I can say. Thanks! Great app! Awesome update

Amazing

Does everything I want!

iPad please

This is my favorite VLC remote. I love the interface and functionality. I would request that it be updated for the iPad. Doesnt have to be fancy at first just so that it looks ok on the larger screen. Well done!!!

Great app!

Works well, does exactly what you need (unlike other VLC remotes out there), and easy to use. Ill be getting the paid version to support these developers.

Reliable

I first downloaded this app long ago but it was overshadowed by others. But after problems arose with those I came back to this one. It is reliable and always connects (it doesnt rely on spotty service of a PC server) and is one of the few that allows browsing the file structure of your comp. All in all, Its the best VLC remote out there.

I like it!

Brilliant app that works really well. Getting it working on windows 7 was a small difficulty, but download the automatic configuration program and it did all the work for me. Bottom kind is this app does what it claims... Its a remote for VLC . You can pause Play, change aspect ratio, control volume , skip forward fast or slow( and rewind as well) go to a specific point ... . If also has the time bar on your iPhone screen so you can see how far along you are. The main remote has many features , buy you can flip to a more simple remote as well.

Simply did not work

While the remote section of this app worked, the streaming features were inconstant and caused constant crashes of the app and its pc software. Note these issues continued ever after doing a manual installation and verification of the software pc side. This was also not due to a lack of pc horsepower. Should future version of this app fix these issues I would give it another try.

Can I have the previous version back, please?

This update was a bust for me. I dont have an iPhone 5, so all the options no longer fit properly on my screen, and it crashes every time I try to make a playlist. Such a disappointment since I use this every day! Guess its time to check out some of the other VLC apps :(

Used to be the best

Now the layout is wrong, controls are hidden behind the in-app VLC Amigo title bar on iphone5 and it crashes when you press + i have to use a different app until this one is fixed.

Good program, minor issue

Thank you for the fixes! The buttons look nice with the new design, but they are very hard to see. When I want to rewind, I have to hold it at just the right angle to see anything. Could you make the buttons more visible or colourful, please?
